Çağkan Ergiden from Güzelyurt TMK came first, Ahmet Kamil Karakuş from Erenköy High School came second and Utku Binay from Nicosia TMK came third.
Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University, Arts and Sciences Faculty, Mathematics Department, 20th Inter- High School Mathematics Competition which took place with the financial support of Onay Fadıl Demirciler Education and Science Foundation hosted 86 students from Bülent Ecevit Anadolu High School, Erenköy High School, Gazimağusa TMK, Güzelyurt TMK, Lefkoşa TMK, Namık Kemal High School, 19 Mayıs TMK and 20 Temmuz FL. After the competition which took place in two categories as individuals and groups, the following results were obtained:
In the individual category,
- Çağkan Ergiden from Güzelyurt TMK came first ,
- Ahmet Kamil Karakuş from Erenköy High School came second,
- Utku Binay from Nicosia TMK came third.
Berk Erdinç (Lefkoşa TMK) and Osman Kamiloğlu (19 Mayıs TMK) who both came fourth received "Onay Fadıl Demirciler Special Award". Following is the list of students who received other special awards,
- Hüseyin Mert Öztop (Namık Kemal High School) "20th Anniversary Special Award'',
- Mehmet Tek (19 Mayıs TMK) "Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daoud S. DAOUD Special Award",
- Mustafa Oktay (Gazimağusa TMK) "Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peter KAS Special Award",
- Tuba Kaya (Erenköy Lisesi) "Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat KİREZCİ Special Award",
- Mehmet Ali Kaçucam (BEAL) "Mathematics Department Special Award",
Certificates of success were awarded to the following students

- Serdar Ersöz (Gazimağusa TMK),
- Halil Şehitoğulları (Gazimağusa TMK),

- Emine Meltem (Gazimağusa TMK),
- Hakkı Aksoylar (Gazimağusa TMK),
- Merve Mevlanaoğlu (Lefkoşa TMK),
- Ümit Aydın (Lefkoşa TMK)
As for the team competitions, 'Lefkoşa Turkish Maarif College', '19 Mayıs Turkish Maarif College', 'Gazimağusa Turkish Maarif College', and 'Bülent Ecevit Anadolu High School'were placed within the first four and qualified for the finals. Additionally, Güzelyurt Turkish Maarif College, Erenköy High School, Namık Kemal High School and 20 Temmuz Science School will be competing for the '20th Anniversary Special Award which will take place at 11:00 a.m. on 6 May 2014. The finals will be held on the same day at 2:30 p.m. at EMU Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tahiroğlu Hall.
After the finals, students will attend a ceremony and receive their awards individually and as teams.
