Within the framework of the "Türkiye Century Education Model," a training session titled "Bullying from School to the Virtual World: Current Issues and Intervention Methods" was completed for psychological counselors working in secondary education institutions. The session was led by Prof. Dr. Fatih Bayraktar, a faculty member at Eastern Mediterranean University.
The training addressed the dimensions of bullying extending from the school environment to digital platforms, focusing on current risk factors and protective approaches. In addition to the theoretical framework, applicable field strategies were included, and practical insights were shared with the participants.
As part of the program, intervention methods were conveyed to enable psychological counselors to take an active role in combating bullying; the importance of preventive efforts and student-parent cooperation was emphasized. The training fostered a learning environment where participants shared their experiences and discussed contemporary practices.
