Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is getting ready to participate in TEKNOFEST 2026, the world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, organized under the leadership of the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology. Once again, EMU will take part as an institutional partner at the TEKNOFEST 2026 event which is set to take place between 30 September and 4 October 2026 at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. The last day for application has been announced as 20 February 2026.
To be held in 52 main categories and 127 sub-categories, TEKNOFEST 2026 Technology Competitions will serve as a platform where young tech enthusiast may carry out their innovate projects in various fields, such as aviation, space, artificial intelligence, defense industry, agricultural technologies and sustainability. Alongside the competition, TEKNOFEST 2026 will also feature exhibitions, shows and various scientific events.
A Message from EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç
In his message on TEKNOFEST, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç highlighted the significance of student involvement in science and technology initiatives worldwide. Stressing that TEKNOFEST offers an important opportunity for young people to bring innovative ideas to life, he stated that EMU firmly supports these platforms as part of its vision to nurture creative, research-oriented, and entrepreneurial graduates.
Prof. Dr. Kılıç further addressed the students, “Dear youth, TEKNOFEST 2026 is a powerful platform where science, technology, and innovative ideas come together. As EMU, we place great importance on our students transforming their dreams into projects and taking part in this major technology journey. I invite all young people who produce, think, and shape the future to participate in TEKNOFEST 2026”.
