Eastern Mediterranean University Arts and Sciences Faculty, Mathematics Department postgraduate student Alma Krivdic's article on the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean University has been published in Oslobodenje, one of the leading newspapers of Bosnia. Stating that Eastern Mediterranean University houses a tourism faculty which ranks 9th in the world tourism rankings, Krivdic added that as an island of education, TRNC boasts around 60,000 students from over 90 countries.
In her article, Krivdic also highlighted the historical and touristic attractions of Famagusta, Nicosia and Kyrenia and added that North Cyprus is a natural habitat for caretta caretta. Stating that any passport holder citizen of Bosnia Herzegovina may visit TRNC, Krivdic invited her citizens to explore this tourism and education haven.
